Olympiads initiative conducted by Shidiksha:

RSTA – Rajasthan Science Talent Acquisition

RGKE – Rajasthan General Knowledge Exam

By conducting these State Level Olympiads Shidiksha aims to build constructive competitive spirit amongst the learners of rural areas as well. Objective is to build self-confidence in them and make them self-aware of their capabilities. These Olympiads will inculcate a feeling of high self-esteem and faith that there is a world out there, ready to recognise their talent and abilities. Intended efforts will made to ensure quality education with practical learning tools with bountiful opportunities to enhance and enrich their knowledge. Shidiksha is committed to act as a catalyst between them and the various supporting facilitators (individuals or organisations) wish to extend their support in the form of finance, opportunities, facilities etc.
Sanvitha also decided to bring this into the notice of all that Hindi language, even after being our Mother tongue is losing its significance. In India, the inclination and preference is on English medium and its students. It is a common observation that Hindi medium students’ self-esteem is low and they feel shy when they share a platform with English medium students. Also, the English medium students often consider themselves as superior over Hindi medium students. They should not be held responsible for this attitude, as these feelings are something they get from their environment. This also leads to disharmony and creates two strata even in the learners. While the major difference between the two is - language only and not the capabilities. Excellence, smartness and talent of a learner should be judged based on his/her knowledge, rational reasoning ability and sense of applicability of the knowledge he/she has; not on the basis of the language he/she speaks or understands.
